Penza Tarmac Ltd is a self-sufficient company specialised in road construction and surfacing works. It is one of the very few local companies equipped with all necessary plant and machinery, namely:
Bitumen-coating Plants, Bituminous emulsion machinery, Cold asphalt machinery, Bitumen storage capacity, Bitumen transportation iso-tanks, Asphalt laying pavers (on track and on wheels), Surface cold-milling machines, Bitumen emulsion-sprayer trucks, Compaction rollers, excavators, shovels, grader machines for levelling of sub-grade and tipper trucks.


Service and Professionalism
The company’s experienced engineers and trained personnel, together with the tested high quality aggregates from localised suppliers and the Group’s own Bitumen importation, represent an integrated unit geared to efficiently service the increasing road associated projects on the island.

Apart from the highest quality leveling systems, such as Laser Sensory Systems, the company also avails of overseas technical consultancy and periodic training of personnel. This enables the achievement of high standard results, complaint to the required BS, ASTM standards, EN and DIN.

Road Construction and Surfacing
In addition to undertaking large surfacing contracts, the company; in recognition of the fact that the smaller projects require a much quicker response and flexible service than might be with the major public sectors; is specially geared and equipped to this section of the industry, with adequate machinery ideally suited to service the smaller and medium sized surfacing contracts.

Projects performed by the company thus range from the smallest side streets to the large road construction and surfacing contracts such as the Bugibba and Hal Far major road networks.
